Individual visitors: € 12/pp

Groups of 20 or more visitors, people with a disability, students and 60+: € 10/pp 

Children, young adults -18 and everyone living in the Province of Antwerp: 

free admission

 

Accessibility

 

Persons with reduced mobility

 

Less mobile: A wheelchair and a rollator are available. Feel free to speak to one of our staff about using these.

Wheelchairs: The Cathedral and bistro De Plek are accessible to wheelchair users. The ambulatory and chapels can be reached via a ramp.

The high altar, underground crypt, garden and tower are not accessible to wheelchairs or prams.

Take a rest: In the Cathedral, you can rest anywhere on one of the many benches and chairs provided.

Sanitary facilities: There are two wheelchair-accessible toilets. One toilet is located right next to the shop.

A second toilet is located in bistro De Plek. This is slightly less easy to reach with wheelchairs because of several doors.

Companion: Do you bring an essential companion, they are admitted free of charge. You yourself enjoy the discounted rate of 10€. 

 

Persons with visual impairment

 

Audio description: Audio description is provided for the highlights (including the works of Rubens).

You can listen to it via the QR code on the steppingstone next to the art work in question.

Guide dogs: are welcome.

Three-dimensional model: There is a  three-dimensional scale model of the Cathedral in St Anthony's Chapel.

Companion: Do you bring an essential companion, they are admitted free of charge. You yourself enjoy the discounted rate of 10€.

 

People with hearing disabilities

 

Telecoil: For people with hearing disabilities or a hearing aid, there is a loop in the nave during the Masses

Visitors' guide: You can buy a visitors' guide (including all recorded texts) at the reception desk or in the shop.

The Cathedral's reception group offers free guided tours in various languages at regular times.

You can join on the spot. For the current schedule, check the calendar

These tours only take place during the Cathedral's opening hours. Garden and tower visits are not included.

Getting there

 

by bike

You can park your bicycle in the bicycle parking in Groenplaats.
There are several Velo stations nearby (velo-antwerpen.be).

 

 

by tram or bus

Tram 3, 5, 9, 15 and 4 all stop in Groenplaats,
as does bus 22, 180, 181, 182, and 183.
