World heritage in Antwerp

The Cathedral of Our Lady is the symbol of Antwerp. It is almost inconceivable how this sturdy tower base extends to a height of 123 m, almost dissolves in the clouds.

A real stairway to heaven! It is easy to see why this belfry and city tower was included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
