The most beautiful church tower in the world

Every Antwerpian’s heart is filled with pride when he sees the tower of the Cathedral of Our Lady. The 123-metre high structure, which rests on a gigantic base, seems to gradually dissolve in the skies over Antwerp.

This is the only tower in the Brabantine gothic style to have been completed. The tower and its carillon serve as the city’s belfry. It is supervised by Antwerp’s municipal services.
