Good Friday in the Cathedral of Antwerp

One of the most impressive services in our Cathedral is that of the Ways of the Cross.

On the Friday evening before Easter we commemorate Jesus’ terrible death on the Cross.

The Church community directs its gaze to the Cross, in silence and contemplation, powerless and speechless, recognising it as a sign of true love, which transcends everything.
