The Feast of the Dedication of the Cathedral is the feast of the cathedral.

The Bishop of Antwerp dedicated the cathedral on 16 May 1521.

Rather than celebrate the mortar and stones that make up our cathedral, we focus on the living stones that shape the parish and community life of our ‘FAMILIA CATHEDRALIS’, the many volunteers, employees and friends of the cathedral, who work hard to build this living community, mindful of Christ’s words to Peter.
